About Us

Writer Annie Dillard famously said, “How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives.” For most of us, a large portion of those days are spent at work. In fact, the average person will spend 90,000 hours at work over a lifetime. To that, add the unpaid time people spend volunteering in the name of community, professional responsibility, and economic development. Work is life, and life is work.

What makes spending a life at work “worth it”? While money cannot be overlooked, evidence suggests it becomes most important when psychological and security needs have not been fully met. Intangible factors, such as culture, structure, know-how, impact, purpose, inclusivity, engagement, and harmony are the real game changers.

Why does it matter?

An organization is a like a tree…healthy trees bear fruit. Engagement is inextricably linked with productivity.

This is our “why”. People. Productivity.
